Hey, Hickory! is a local discovery application operated by LocalHype.us. LocalHype.us operates multiple local discovery platforms including Hey, Hickory! (HeyHickory.us). All services are collectively referred to as “the Service.”
LocalHype.us (localhype.us) (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates localhype.us, a local discovery platform for businesses, events, and announcements. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. SMS Messaging Program
Program Name: Hey, Hickory! Business Alerts
Program Description: By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text message notifications from Hey, Hickory!. These messages may include alerts about businesses you follow, announcements, events, and local updates in the Hickory, NC area.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive up to a few messages per week depending on the businesses you follow and activity in your area.
Message & Data Rates:Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your plan’s messaging rates.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from allLocalHype.us (localhype.us) SMS messages. You will receive one confirmation message after opting out.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most major US carriers.
3. Use of the Service
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You agree not to submit false, misleading, or inappropriate content including reviews, events, or business listings.
- You agree not to use the Service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
- We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend access at our discretion.
4. Business Listings & Reviews
Business information displayed on LocalHype.us (localhype.us) is collected from public sources and submitted by business owners. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee it. By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that review on our platform.
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.
5. Payments & Featured Listings
Featured Listing subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code on LocalHype.us (localhype.us) is the property of LocalHype.us (localhype.us) unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that business hours, locations, or other information is accurate or up to date. Use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalHype.us (localhype.us) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
